This is the kind of physical play the Leafs often used in the 3-game elimination rounds back in the 70s.
One time, each of the 3 Leaf forwards strongly body-checked each of their opponents in a span of only a few seconds.
This is the Berube-style game we have all been looking forward to all season. Cross-checking was out of control to the point of seriously dangerous.
