There’s no such thing as a bad 4th rd pick 99% of 4th rd picks don’t make the NHL. After the 3rd rd it’s a crap shoot
As well as MSL has done with this group, he hasn’t handled Arber very well. He seems to bench him after every mistake yet Matheson does the same and keeps getting ice time. This series hasn’t even started but I firmly believe if Habs are going to pull off the upset, Arber needs to be in the lineup. Even if it’s 9-12 min.
I agree that probably won't play xhekaj but I think that is so stupid. If there's one guy we want in the playoffs it's Arber Fucking Xhekaj!
Problem with Xhekaj is he gets too many penalties
But then again, in series mode, refs are more lenient so they should give him a go IMO
xhekaj is a good fighter but not very good otherwise. i prefer habs use their rookies reinbacher or mailloux instead. xhekaj is not good defensively and takes alot penalties and he was taking a spot we could use for a better defenseman.

I agree with you. Tom Wilson and a couple of other Caps are gonna have a ball targeting Hutson, Caufield and co. without Xhekaj in the lineup.

Agree 💯 Junkie. Arber Xhekaj adds much more toughness and fear to this team and I’m more than willing to overlook some of his defensive shortcomings because of this.

I agree with you – Xhekaj's mass would be essential, but even though we have a Hulk, we also have A DEMIGOD. Demidov's entry into the lineup could be a game changer – as for our D, we need to make use of what we have. Hope Sav's in physical shape enough to pound the other team's D's and keep Hutson from getting intercepted, and we should be good.
They should go 7 d-men. Use Savard exclusively on the penalty kill.

I am worried without Wifi in there. Tom Wilson is mean. He is one of the dirtiest players in the league. He will take out our small superstars one by one if no one is there to keep him in check.

Well, the habs lost most of their games since Arber was out of the lineup.
Possible that St-Louis will test an all skill lineup in the first games.
If they go well, Arber stays out.
But I bet he's got him on speed-dial if things dont go well game 1 and/or 2.

You're right, it was a coaching mistake not getting Arber in the lineup down the stretch. They need him in the playoffs and should have alternated him in and gave all the defensemen a rest that way no one is rusty.

I'd even play Xhekaj at forward and sit the euro softies that don't put up ANY points on the 4th line and don't check anything.
You are right, their last game Hutson took 3 or 4 good hits, Jackeye needs to play, msl has got it out for him

If you want a bull in heat, sure put Arby in. He'll run over any Cap within a stick radius. In your montage of his hits, it looks to me like half could have been called interference. I think he should only be slotted in if Wilson bullies the Habs. The other player that should be taken out is Anderson with Heineman in. He's like an elephant on the ice who does 90% right but can't finish the grade A chances. Hence his dismal year in the previous season and barely acceptable numbers this year. Emil and Ivan could be a good combo.
