Let's face it , every team in the nhl playoffs are happy that the Buffalo Sabres didn't make the playoffs . If it wasn't for them losing 13 in a row back in December , this Sabres team would have easily made the playoffs. I can blame Linda Ruff for that 13 game skid. The Sabres were the hottest team in February – April w/ the improved goaltending of James Reimer & scoring power from Thompson, Tuch, Peterka & Dahlin . If they can get a real coach & GM , the sky is the limit for the Sabres next year. As far as the teams in the playoffs right now , I see the eastern champs coming from the winner of the Leafs vs Senators matchup. Brady Tkachuk & Dylan Couzins will be unstoppable & I believe they can take the Leafs in 7 . After that it should be a breeze for the Sens to reach the Cup. On the Western bracket , look for Captain Jack Eichel to lead the Knights to the Cup & in the 2nd round look for Jack Eichel to take out Connor McDavid & the squeaky Oilers , letting Connor know that he has a cup & Connor has Zero cups . Whether it be the Jets or Avs in the conference championship against the Knights , it won't matter cause Jack & company will eliminate them. That takes us to the Cup finals Sens vs Knights. It will go 7 games & game 7 will go into OT & it will be Brady Tkachuk feeding a pass to Dylan Cozens , one timing it for the game winner , w/ his 20th goal of the 2025 playoffs & a Cup & MVP award. If the Leafs somehow defeat the Sens , it will be Matthews feeding John Tavares for the game winner in game 7 in OT over the Vegas Knights.You can take these predictions & bet your entire last paycheck from work on the Sens for a hefty payout. I laid down 10K on the Sens & another 5K on the Leafs & you can take that & go to the bank & cash it in yesterday. 👍✝️

First respectable guy I've seen this year. The main differences I have is I got Avs beating both Dallas and the Jets, to go to the Western Finals vs the Kings. The Kings are elite and if we're being honest most writers from the East coast or Canada don't watch the Kings or are insanely biased. Just by the number alone with a blank logo the Kings are the best team by a mile with goaltending as good as Hellebuyck. I also have Lightning going to the finals and my upset is I have Montreal beating Caps but that's as far as they go. Avs vs Tampa in the Finals. Avs win it all, but I you best believe I'll be rooting for my Kings!
