Where did you see that they made the official name Mammoth? I have not read that anywhere. It has been a good season and I have enjoyed your content and the few discussions we had throughout the season. I assume you are not from Arizona, what made you a fan of the Coyotes?
My 1st season as a Utah fan, like everyone else – but NHL fan since '70 or earlier. Followed what Mgr Bill did building roster since 22, especially since scooping my boy Durzi fr my Kings, lol. When the move to Utah happened I was all-in as a fan. I watched closely as Mgr Dean Lomardi build the Kings roster starting in '06 to the Cup yrs '12 and '14. There are many similarities between the approach of the two Mgrs, tho the styles of play are about opposite. 1st season in awhile the team spends 2 seasons in a row in the same home arena. Porter Martone, rated 5th or so in junior draft is who I hope Mgr Bill trades up to grab at draft. 6'3" 210lb power-forward, R wing.
I think there is blame on the AZ ownership, but I also blame the UHC ownership group. Most understand AZ would still have this team if UHC ownership didn't move for the relocation/new franchise. That being said, playing at the Mullet would still be a terrible joke of a situation. I feel there isn't much space for AZ fans to criticize the relocation, mourn the loss and move on to supporting this new team. It's a lot to process. I also struggle to get UHC fans to be supportive to AZ fans. Most of the interactions I see are negative towards AZ fans, blaming the fans for the relocation because there was no support or fanbase. That builds some tension for me personally. Im still trying to sort out whether I am following UHC for the specific players I love or if I am going to really fall in love with the franchise. Im giving myself more time and space to sort all of it out. I would not feel as committed to this team if it wasn't for your videos and other social medial creators like SLC puck and the Locked on peeps, (I wish AllCity had a presence). Im a CA fan so having these platforms are so important for the connection to other fans for the team. Thx for all you do.
the HOCKEY GUY GAVE US = C+ , grade for the season , should be B , i beg to differ with shannon , coach tourigny did more with less than any other coach , and kept utah hockey club in the mix and competitive all season .new owner smith needs to open his billion dollar wallet and get us a top line scorer to take some heat off captain keller..keep up the good work senor !

As someone who lives in Phoenix, I can say that NOBODY is talking about the NHL coming back…unless you go to an ASU game you dont see Coyotes or UHC merch being worn…Craig Morgan tried to float a story about the possibility of the NHL returning here but it has no legs…I went to 30 out of 82 games played at the Mullett and it was NEVER not 60% + the other teams fans….Im sad but realistic…plus 1996 was the best attendance they ever had…glad you are doing well! Keep it up!
