  1. Minnesota Wild you could automatically make this season a success if you somehow find a way to make it out of this series

  2. Always appreciate your nod to the Wild. They are a good team, but they need work if they are going to be contenders.

  3. Vegas most Regulation wins in the NHL; no extra time 3-on-3 or S/O's in the playoffs. Have more playoff experience and success than any other team. Don't think the Pacific bracket is terribly tough given my doubts about Edmonton.

Wild have almost no chance here and Knights are my pick for another Cup.

Could be a 4 game sweep.

  4. Okay separate rant here, on Saturday you only have 2 games
WHY WHY don't they have more than 2 1/2 hours between the 2 gms

Doesn't the league want fans to watch both games in entirety ( providing no OT in gm 1)😡🤬

  5. Only team with the potential to beat Vegas in the western conference is LA. No one plays Vegas like LA. They have those boys figured out. Edmonton did a couple seasons ago and Vegas beat them too.
Wild has great potential however they just don’t quite have the level that Vegas does. Vegas is a SCF team, Wild not so much.

  6. One thing people forget to mention is the wild played Vegas all three times one the second leg of a back to back

  7. Life long Wild fan and I’m taking Vegas in 5 we came out flat against Calgary and it was a most win game we barely made the playoffs, almost lost to Vancouver in a most win then almost lost to Anaheim

  8. Minnesota fan; but cannot say the Wild take this. They staggered into the playoffs. A few too many injuries; and it seems the Wild are always a step slow. Vegas is just a bit too sharp.
The pipe dream would see Flower save the day !!!!!

  9. I like the edge of the Wild…they have players who like the quest. Injuries derailed the momentum. So interested to see and hoping it’s a long series.

  10. MN was #1 in points in early Dec, but more imprortantly #1 in THG's power rankings! Then the injuries started to pile up. When healthy, the lineup can be good enough to compete with the best, but with the cap restrictions they just have no depth and it showed the last half of the season. Now they have everyone back, BUT are they truely healthy, that remains to be seen. Ek seems to be 100%, Kaprizov is back, but is he 100%? I'm hoping they can find their early season mojo and make it a series!

  11. The regular season stats are what they are, but you said it yourself: “Vegas is not as physical as they once were”—-this is the playoffs.

  12. Obviously the Vegas Golden Knights should be favored to win this series, as a Wild fan I understand it. But there is 1 player who potentially could be an X factor, he was just signed after playing with Denver University. Zeev Buium the Wild's 2024 first round draft pick, he's on the playoff roster, replacing Jon Merrill. Coach John Hyness is going to give the rookie a chance, what a way to begin your NHL career!? Wild! May the force be with you!

  13. Since Pittsburgh, Rangers, Boston, Calgary and Vancouver all failed to make the playoffs, Vegas is the only blemish on the radar. For years I have refused to forgive Minnesota for signing Matt Cooke, but maybe just this once I'll make an exception, and root for them to win so Vegas is out.

  14. I'm a MN fan and I'm PREDICTING Vegas in 6. Minnesota is pretty weak on the third line and defense but we are more physical. If the Wild can slow the game down and be more physical, then they'll have a slightly better chance, but I'd put Vegas at 80% likely to win this.

  15. I have a strong opinion that this series depends on how game 1 goes, if Minnesota can steal one in Vegas, it will give them momentum and this series could go the distance. But if Vegas rolls in game 1 this will be done in 5
