The Vancouver Canucks beat the San Jose Sharks in overtime with Jake DeBrusk scoring the winner. Nikita Tolopilo and Kirill Kudryavtsev made their NHL debuts as well!

Good for tolo to get his first win but that PP was atrocious

Went to my first game tonight. Happy we had a dub! Tolopilo is massive haha. Happy for him and his first win. And to be there as Quinn tied Edler and see a Boeser assist…not to mention OT win? Happy to have went.

honestly management giving all these young guys a chance is very nice, i actually get to see these players play against nhl caliber guys. And some of these guys were quite surprising like karlsson i didnt know anything about this guy and he has been very decent, also raty has been good as of late so has Dpetey and other than this game mancini was good. Oh yeah and lekki will be nice, willander will be cool to see next year Tolopilo is fucking huge, whenever it showed him he just towered over the net it was pretty funny to see a small Georgiev in comparison

When the Canucks had their training camp in Penticton, my Son and I were able to watch Tolopilo. We both thought he looked really good in camp . He has size 6’6” , covers a lot of net in the butterfly , doesn’t over commit , and a fast glove. A little surprised it took the Canucks this long to get him in action. Should give the other goalies a run for their money next year . Congrats Nikita on your first NHL win !!!

Calm down. Tolopilov is good, but he did just face an underpowered Sharks. He needs to go down to Abbotsford for their Calder Cup run. But he may further develop into a good backup.
Well, trade the right ones away for depth forwards! There are a number of teams going into the playoffs with questionable goalies. It will be the same issue next year also.

Tolopilo played fantastic. Very calm and collected. Glove hand is deadly. Was a fun game to watch.
This WAS a disconnected game. I agree, I was disinterested or two periods. That OT was sleepy.
Kudry looked solid, Tolopilo was my preseason hot pick to take the back up job from Silovs… and then they signed Lankinen… but he looked good.
Linus Karlsson has proven he's a player. Between Lekkerimaki and Karlsson we can safely replace Brock's stats.

No matter how many gaolies they have doesnt change a thing. The cansuck just suck, the Abbotsford canucks are a better team. If they play the Abbotsford canucks instead of the dumb canucks they wouldve won more during the season. Vancouver canucks suck…
