  1. Down to game #81 and Montreal still hasn't crossed the finish line to get an invitation to the big dance,

The Hawks have nothing to lose so they will play relaxed and being on the road makes it even easier on them to be calm.

The pressure is all on Montreal. Hopefully, Marty can relax them enough to let them play to their talent.

Last time the Hawks took Montreal apart during a time when Montreal were beating everyone else.

    Not a good sign.

Montreal has to come out like buzz saws, creating confusion in the Hawks defensive zone.

I truly believe if Demidov can score an early goal the roof will be blown off at the Bell Center.

If the magic that touched Matthews on his first game in the NHL would happen this would be a great thing world-wide.

In the first period Montreal has to win every shift and get pucks ON THE NET because they have been held to less than 10 shots over 2 periods just too, too many times.

If Marty plays Monty, and if Monty is cold, Marty has to pull him right away. Carolina is not a team you want to play with the season on the line.

If Montreal does not get it done on Monday night, the candle of hope will be just an ember.

    In poker, you say……ALL IN

  2. Im starting to worry about our playoff spot. I am sensing a choke job…I suspect Columbus is going to run the table. We need at least an ot result

  3. Hey guys sorry for not be in there for a few months I was very busy, but I want to Advertise with you guys, send me a email I never receive your email

  4. The Habs better be careful. The Blue Jackets are right on their tail. If the Habs lose their last 2 games, they may miss the playoffs. They better win tomorrow night against Chicago or they mayl be forced to beat Carolina and that won't be easy.

  5. Best Lines IMO:
    Caufield – Suzuki – Demidov
    Slafkovsky – Evans – Laine
    Anderson – Dvorak – Gallagher
    Heineman – Newhook – Armia

  6. I am a Habs fan but, In my opinion, the Blue jackets has a better chance of making the playoffs than the Habs. 🙁

  7. I think Columbus are gonna clinch that spot. NHL wants it with johnny hockey story. Ever since monahan came back in lineup, theyve been winning.
Reporters and fans jinxed it and shouldnt of said anything until it was done.
Refs are gonna help im sure with this scenario

  8. if habs lose tonight sorry no playoffs as teams are throwing games against columbus ps demidov will have a wake up call you watch

  9. Hi J. J.,
TONIGHT WE WON and 20k subscribers is ours.. Sorry my English is a bad..
    GO HABS GO
    🇨🇵🇸🇰🇨🇦

  10. From GPT4.5.. (Yes, it chose Gallagher out of the line up simply due to salary and declining performance.. not my decision to remove the heart of this team)

🔥 Optimized Habs Lineup with Demidov 🔥

Here's how much better the Canadiens become by adding Ivan Demidov and removing Brendan Gallagher (purely stats-based decision):

    🏒 New Optimal Lines:
Line 1: Caufield – Suzuki – Demidov (Elite, top NHL line: ~180-220 pts combined)
Line 2: Laine – Newhook – Slafkovský (Strong depth line: ~130-160 pts combined)
Line 3: Anderson – Dvorak – Kapanen (Balanced two-way scoring)
Line 4: Pezzetta – Evans – Armia (Reliable checking/depth line)

    📊 Quick Stats & Improvements:
Goals scored: +30 more goals (~280 total, +12%)
Points in standings: +15 more points (potential playoff jump)
Power Play: Boost from ~18% ➡ ~22-25% (elite level)

NHL offensive rank: Jumps from bottom third ➡ top third

Cap Space Freed: $3.5M-$5.5M additional flexibility

    📈 Overall Impact:
Demidov replacing Gallagher statistically turns Montreal from a fringe/non-playoff team into a legit playoff contender and offensive powerhouse.

What do you think, Habs fans? Would this make Montreal a serious contender? 🚨

  11. All this public fanfare over Demidov is affecting the Canadiens' performance, I think it does. Ever since of the news, the public attention has been crazily out of hand, and the team is feeling it.
