No Heiskanen/Robertson, avs in 5, both back by game 2, avs in 6. Not mentioning Landeskog coming back is nuts. Avs have been missing a net front presence that has elite tipping skills. Nuke and Lehky can clean up rebounds, but neither of them are elite at tips. Just watch, Landy gets a tip for every 30m played.
Kinda surprised you didn't mention the Robo injury and his status is up in the air.

What's crazy to me is that despite the skid the Stars have been on, the Avs were never really a threat to catch them for second in the division. They got as close as two points. Yes Colorado is playing better now, but this is the playoffs. Regular season means nothing. Stars in 6.
This will be a "home win" series. If Colorado wins game 6 at home they win the series. If not Dallas wins at home in game 7

I'm surprised nobody is mentioning DeBoer's outstanding Game 7 record here… Dallas winning Game 1 means Avs would likely need to win 4 of the next 5 games (2 in DAL rink, 3 in COL rink after game 1 is over). Winner of Game 1 probably wins the series unless Avs outshoot Stars and lose by 1/2 goals, then COL could win games 2+3 and take control of the series. Oettinger is a great playoff goalie, but there's no Tanev nor Heiskanen compared to last season. Let's see how Dallas starts this playoffs, they were down 2-0 in round one to Vegas and cameback but it'll be tougher to replicate that comeback this season imo.
I'll say it again. If Dallas brings their problems from their last 15 or so games, it would be completely un-excusable for Colorado to not throttle them. That's coming from a Dallas fan.

Nobody expects anything of Dallas, Dallas lately has been a disaster (even previously when they were winning, they consistently lost shots against badly).
Toronto finally fixed their defence, Dallas still (3rd years running) didn't. Colorado just overhauled their roster. Col in 4.

The Landeskog return just adds a layer to it that I don't think any team can overcome. Between that and EJ coming back (yes, EJ was a HUGE part of the last cup win from a leadership perspective)…
