The Stars are a zombie team walking right now. They're dead.
Massive night last night! Here are things I see for each of these 2 teams.
Stars: Play way more physical, and will get dirty. Stankoven was their coast to coast skater. They have a lot of experienced depth guys. Grandlund is the new X factor. He's finally on a team that can win. Jake is by far the better goalie here.
AVS: You described them perfectly. Relentless offense. Makar could be a forward on any team if he wanted to be. He's not scared to snake his way up to near the crease , and shoot the puck. Their goaltending is their Achille's heel.

Oh, how I so dearly missed that glorious intro. Love that you're doing these series breakdowns man! You're right on with speed being an advantage in the first round, and Avs season ended Sunday, so with a full week's rest and time to practice, MacKinnon Cale and Necas are all gonna be shot out of a cannon to start this series.
