Paul Cotter will have to serve a two-game suspension after his mishap against Adam Pelech on Sunday. The playoffs will start in a few days, so this could allow him to get some rest and recovery. After initially being ruled out until the second round of the playoffs, Dougie Hamilton might return to the Devils lineup sooner than anticipated. Getting him back would be beneficial.

It’s really easy being a good player on a loaded playoff team in your draft year but then decline. When you’re a phenomenal player on a horrible team it shows how well handling adversity and pressure you can handle. Upside is gravy on the biscuits.
