for him. They lost 3-1. Ilya Sorokin was solid in goal. They could've called up some kids from Bridgeport, but they didn't. It was the same old 🎵. Hero, Matt Martin for what he's done for the Islanders on and off the ice. 🐐, SPECIALTY TEAMS AGAIN. The Islanders did very well when it came to face offs. Bridgeport had 3 games, and they lost them all setting a team record for futility at 🏡. Like the parent club, these Islanders need a serious cleanup, and from TOP TO BOTTOM, TOO. HAPPY 🎂, KYLE OPOSO. He played for the Sabres and the 🐈, where he won the Stanley Cup. He scored 4 goals in a 6-3 win over the 🐧. Hear from you later, Gil, before I go, yesterday was a sad day in Islanders history. The 3rd anniversary of Mike Bossy's passing. RIP, BOSS 1957-2022. To honor his memory, I'm ⌚️ the 50 50 game. Now, LET'S GO ISLANDERS.

Good morning team! Gil, it's certainly hard to say goodbye to players, but a necessary part to grow and get better. Of course we'll miss Martin's spunky, chip on his shoulder play. On another note, I love the fact that we can be spoiler for Columbus, in keeping them out of the playoffs. Montreal has a hard game against the Canes.
