Overtime Winner Mitchy | The Leaf: Blueprint Moment

It was an Original Six showdown as the Toronto Maple Leafs faced off against the Montreal Canadiens, with playoff implications on both sides. The Leafs were looking to solidify their playoff positioning, while the Habs were fighting to keep their postseason hopes alive. What unfolded was 60 full minutes of scoreless hockey – something that hadn’t happened between these two rivals since 1957. It all came down to overtime, and it was Mitch Marner who finally broke through, sealing the 1-0 win for Toronto and earning the belt for his clutch performance.

  2. If he leaves toronto in the summer I will forever blame the fans and the media for how they have treated such a high caliber player.

    You rock mitchy!! πŸŽ‰

  3. Don't tell me the 4 nations cup win didn't change Marner. Even though Matthews is captain, Tavares ex-captain, Marner is leading this team now.

  4. Overtime Win For The Leafs!!!! Great Goal And Saves For Marner And Stolarz!!!! Good Job Boys And Few Games Left!!!!πŸπŸ‘πŸ‘βœŒοΈ

  5. cmon boys stolie and woll seem very under appreciated this year. There have been several times this year where they should have got the belt. They need it more often.

  6. Marner gets the belt πŸ‘πŸ» He is at 98 points, hope he clears 100, all that summer training with Crosby & MacKinnon is showing, as well as Berube's influence on the team. So proud of how Marner has improved his game overall, lets keep the momentum up for the playoffs. Congrats Mitchy πŸ’™πŸ’™

  7. Yet another OT game winner for Mitchy. πŸ‘ The man does it all, defense, winger, sometimes even goalie for our open net, and he does it well. Great hockey player and a local boy. 🍁
