The physicality is what is killing this team. They NEED to make sure they can hit hard and make physicality a part of their play.
I don't really mind losing this one, as long as it is entertaining to watch, and NO injuries happen. Players to watch: Stu, McDavid, Jeff. Stuart Skinner is going to have to show the team that he can be THE guy that they can count on in the playoffs, or else Pickard could steal that spot from him this year. McDavid is McDavid, enough said. Jeff Skinner has been playing good hockey but hasn't shown up on the scoresheet lately, I think he gets one or two goals this game. Score prediction: Optimistic prediction: Oilers 4-1. Most likely prediction: Jets 5-3. I'm mostly looking for McDavid to reach the 100 pt mark and for Stuart to redeem himself tonight. Just play safe, don't want to read about ANOTHER injury.
Winnipeg showed some serious cracks against the Hawks, so I can only hope our Edmonton Cripples can exploit the gaps and pot a few on the Jets. I have absolutely no expectations for a win, but I am expecting a good show, 4-3 Jets final. I honestly don’t care about the regular season any more, but if the team can show resolve and even a little fight in this back to back, I’m fine with losses.
