I hope he plays long enough and well enough to reach 1000. I think he could pull it off if he stays healthy. He breaks his leg and misses a bunch of games and still pots 40+ at 39 years old. He hasn’t lost the touch. He could pull off 1000 if he even goes 4 more seasons at 35 goals per Average. At the rate he’s going he might reach 900 this season.
