David Pastrnak: CAPTAIN Of The Bruins? | Sports Hub Underground

In this episode of the Sports Hub Underground podcast, Matt Dolloff and Ty Anderson of 98.5 The Sports Hub go over a number of topics on the Boston Bruins, both big and small. Chief among them is why they both believe David Pastrnak should be the Bruins’ next captain.

1:02 – Big-picture thoughts on the Bruins’ need for another star on their roster – and why BC’s James Hagens may not be the answer.

8:02 – Elias Lindholm has played well of late, and it’s good to see him end the season on a high note.

13:03 – The guys discuss why David Pastrnak is a no-brainer to be the Bruins’ next captain.

20:45 – Fraser Minten looks like a good all-around player and legit future piece for the Bruins, so far.

27:23 – The B’s have to figure out how to fill out the right side of their defense for next season after Charlie McAvoy.

36:55 – Could Joe Sacco stick around as the Bruins head coach? The guys go over why their decision could be a sign of where they expect to be next season.

  1. LOL at Mason Lohrei being a -43 this year. Thanks to Felgy and Mazz for that mind-boggling stat.
Edit to add: Had to look it up, confirmed. But here's an interesting counterpoint: Nikita Zadorov is an astonishing +21 even while leading the NHL in penalty minutes. Not nearly as bad of a signing as most seem to think it was.
