I think it'd be awesome to have a sit down with Will and Mack together. The conversation could be really interesting to see their differing perspectives, but also I think they might both be a little more relaxed doing an interview together.
I feel like so many slept on Will because of how his year began. But in all honesty he is ice cold in clutch moments. He steps up in big moments. This combo we have going forward is something very special. It’s only up from here!!!
Hey Brodie and Will, I was waiting for this one so thank you. It has been a blast watching Will grow this year. I can't even imagine how hard it is for a young man in his first NHL season. Watching you adapt and adjust to the NHL Will has been really incredible. I used to be a high school wrestling coach and I derive great pleasure from watching young athletes take the next step and you have not disappointed this year at all Will.
I think you have exceeded my expectations really and the steepness of your learning curve is unbelievable. You have made such progress to the point that you are a very dangerous threat other teams really have to work hard to contain. I say contain because players of your caliber are not stoppable. Really the best an opposing team can hope for is to contain the player so they don't go off like you did against Minnesota last game.
I have been watching Sharks hockey since before Patty was drafted and honestly I am not sure I have seen any rookie come to the team with a steeper learning curve. As my late father liked to say: "Take the credit, your going to get the blame!" hahaha
