OK Guys, are you ready for this?! The Montreal Canadiens have SIGNED their 5th overall pick in 2024 Ivan Demidov!! To a 3 year entry level contract! Demidov is set to arrive in North America at some point this week, and he will join the Habs on their playoff race! I am absolutely hyped right now, and I can’t wait to talk about it!

Wow it’s so fucking good right now, Habs are literally going to be a team to watch from now on. This is massive, after such a tank it’s nice to see the clicking happening and now Demidov, Hudson on this team is just pure glory 🎉😂we can’t let them piss in the Cheerios !!!
What a year to be a Habs Fan, I've never seen such a thing like this all season. Laine get's traded to Mtl, Laine get's hurt in pre-season, Habs kinda stink and a hot mess in Defense, Laine comes back, team is hot, Team sucks again, Carrier gets traded to MTL, Team is hot again, Heinamen ges hit by car and out, Guhle out, team sucks again. 4 Nations Cup, Team Canada wins, Habs come back and red hot, Suzuki, Hutson, some of the best players since, they lose 5 in a row and then win 6 in row… What a season.
People keep saying second line but the second line plays less then the 3rd,and 4th… It's the 4th line… Cuz Newhook and Laine are not dominant and not reliable enough, he will go there but hopefully it becomes a true #2. Dvorak, Anderson and Gallagher = the 2nd line they have like 11 plus points each in last 10 or 11 games…

Why is #50 considered a $hitty number? It's never been used in franchise history and I don't seem to find a good answer to why this is the case. Is it because it's associated to Labatt 50 beer and Molson owns the team or has been associated with the team for decades? If that's the case it's just funny as H – E – double hockeysticks
We were told to temper our expectations for Hutson and he's the rookie of the year. Demidov is better than Hutson. #93 will make an immediate impact on that second line. No question.

(And no, Not bc they're both RUS). MM is just getting started with his potential, but DEMIDOV's size will def be an advantage. I'm Def All about these Habs, lookin' FWD.
This season has been such an awesome season for us Habs fans already. Between having Hutson doing what he's doing, Patrik Laine, Suzuki crushing it, Caufield being on fire, Slaf finding his game, Monty stepping it up and starting to steal games, Carriere, Gallagher finding his game again, Dvorak waking up, oh and HAVING A REAL SHOT AT THE PLAYOFFS!!! it's been like Christmas. And now, we find out we're gonna get to watch Demidov lace 'em up for le Habs in short order. Obviously, we gotta be mindful of expectations because he has to adapt to the NHL, but.. hoo boy, this is a season to remember and we haven't even got to the playoffs yet. GO HABS!!
