  1. Scotty “Hockey” will be missed as a leader, a player, and a guy who gave 110% each and every game !! We wish him the very best in Toronto !!

  2. Briere sucks as a GM we want a winning team here quit giving players away and taking nothing the so called 1st round pick they got from Toronto is more like a 2nd round where the leafs will finish in the standing just bring in winning players were sick of losing

  3. Scott Laughton was nothing but a king below bottom six grinder; for too long the Flyers have made a cult of personality out of these high will/medium skill types and the end result is going 50 years and counting without a Stanley Cup championship.

It was time for Laughton and his rainbow tape to go; we'll see what the Flyers do with Toronto's 2027 first rounder, the kid who gets drafted would have been born in late '08/09 so at this point I'm starting to feel old and my loyalty lies with the Flyers logo and not an individual player.

  4. Seems like the Flyers are like a hamster in a wheel just going around and round..Things never get better just stay the same, how long has this been going on for? Gauthier, Farabee, you mean these young players couldn’t have been part of the future…

  5. We’ll be missing Scott, for sure. One of the best PK guys I’ve seen on this team and a class act. Best of luck in Toronto. When the Leafs play in Philly next year, it will be a celebration of a great former Flyer.

  6. Thank y'all. It's tough to lose Sarge. I made the huge mistake of looking at comments on the internet here by buffoons but the movements of the Flyers in the past couple years are very encouraging. They've maximized value for guys we absolutely love but may not fit the championship time frame- while also doing really well by those guys and getting them to places that are special and exciting to them as opposed to sending them to the abyss. That is class. Pumped to see what comes of these players, picks and cash the next couple seasons let's go boys

  7. I've been knocking Danny for his trade deadline moves. But I think I get it now….he wants the team to be terrible so we get a higher draft pick this year. Two problems….lots of other teams are tanking –both Buffalo and Detroit have lost 5 in a row, Pittsburgh 4 in a row, and Boston 3 in a row and that was just looking at Eastern Conference teams. And secondly Danny will have to draft extremely well….no Nolan Patricks, Cutter Gauthiers, or other guys who are busts or don't want to play for the Flyers. Don't consult any former Flyer GM for drafting advice. No, this fan at least is not being patient….I'm in my 70s and not sure I'll be around by the time this rebuild works

  8. What moves are they making to make the playoffs next year? They have no legit #1 or #2 center. They have no legit #1 dman ,either an offensive type or a defensive standout. The PP is horrible due to having no playmaking center or a QB dman with a good shot . They will not have any of these type of players next year either. So how can they possibly be any better next year? Even if Luchenko makes it next year , you can’t expect a 19 year old to suddenly be a top 2 center. The only way they improve a bit is if we trade up to a top three pick and draft a center who can step in immediately. Anyone else we draft at 7 or 8 is not gonna step in this year. So prepare for two more years of being horrible.

  9. The NHL is loaded with roster fillers like Laughton. I never thought I'd see the day when the Flyers were less relevant than the Union. I guess that's what happens when you join the cancel culture society and remove 50 years of history. I don't even know when they play anymore and I don't care.

  10. This team is too good for it's own good! Torts is the wrong coach at this point for this club! He makes good teams great and bad teams better than what they should be! They need at Top 3 pick in the draft, Misa, Martone and McQueen (possibly Desnoyers) are all gamechangers but not uber talented. All are 2 or 3 yrs away. This team needs a GENERATIONAL Talent! This is getting ridiculous. TANK the season!

  11. I 5:19 I've been saying this most of the season! Don't trade a solid D man .. that's all in on the system and rebuild plan! Risto was the one I worried about most!
So happy he's staying!!! Risto baby!

  12. WTH is Al looking at. This team could possible be worse next year. They have virtually no offensive weapons, bad D, really bad goalies and can’t draft work a damn

  13. Not trading Ristorante was dumb. The team is not winning with him, so you might as well build for the future and trade him. Also we have multiple prospects, so we need to open a spot or two, to see who can play and who can not.

  14. Giroux and older guys keaving has had effect. Gauthier was a package, same with Frost and Farabee. Something just has ro bw said of people in charge making selections.
