The Oilers have two very good players, each making 5 times more than the average NHL player.
Take those two off the team and the Oilers have: a mediocre offense. In defense there is 1 overpaid defender Nurse🤑, 2 good defenders Eckholm and Walman, 1 attacking defender Bush, who plays below average in defense, and the rest are mediocre at best. The goalkeepers of «Oilers» are mediocre in the best case. Summary: "Oilers" without Leon and McD is at best a mediocre team. And, yes, coach Knob is a mediocre too at best. 🤪Today Oilers are "Something" like the Ducks , not better) and Frederic is definitely NOT a top 6 player ( line #3 at best IMHO )

For the love of all things sacred do not hang this Kid out to dry, hold the Blueline and Dump and Chase for 60 minutes…give the Kid a fighting chance….and Pickles has been delightful so keep rolling with him please and let Skinner heal up so you can start him in Game #1 of the Playoffs as we all know you plan to. If Leon is still tweaked sit him out dont let him push himself to hard as he likes to do, there is time to rest now and there will be no excuses accepted later because of this available recuperation time. Everyone is already getting into Playoff mode….rest the weak and tired because soon the real Season starts.
