  1. With Ivan joining, the release of 1st line matchups as teams will have to match up Patty L and Ivan will raise our 1st line will do nothing but raise up

  2. Been a Suzuki backer for years going back to his junior career. Happy to see him reall excelling in the NHL. Best part is, he’s done a lot of this production without a lot of help and limited secondary scoring.

I have been saying for years I see Bergeron & Sakic in his game and I feel even more confident about those comparisons moving forward. Now the haters will jump on me for even saying those names, it’s happened numerous times already, but they are accurate comparisons IMO.

  3. Even if this is his ceiling, it’s awesome. A point a game is spectacular

I love his demeanour, he has a business like mentality, has good hockey IQ, plays a 200 foot game, is solid on his skates

I’ve been watching this team religiously for over 20-25 years and this is easily the most skilled team they’ve had, and he’s the best captain they’ve had

  4. If the Habs have a solid 2nd line, I do think a 100pt season is not out of the question.
Slaf should be better if he puts it together for the whole season. Cole should be a solid 40 goal man.
Selke should be absolutely in his future.

  5. I was wondering when Bergeron was going to come up. Thank you. Bergevin was wrong way more than right. Who was that head scout guy? I finally forgot, don't tell me. Please don't remind me.

  6. Not this season but I could see it in the future. I think the Habs have both a Mackinnon and Makar in both Suzuki and Hutson. Maybe not a Mackinnon, yet. But Suzuki is amazing. Add Demidov, Caufield and Slafkovsky in the mix.

  7. I have to disagree with Marco – that first line needs Slaf, and the space he can create.

Habs will be best served by having two solid lines and not one stacked line.
