  1. The irony about Suzuki is despite having a great offensive year he also shuts down elite players above him. A Selke performance year.

  2. Kent Hughes is the best Habs GM since the 70's. What a genius. The skills and knowledge he attained as a really good agent for a long time has made his decision making a lot better when weighing the cap and skill/performance ratio in every decision.

Demidov signed with time to play a few games before the playoffs is a huge success for Kent and his management team. Amazing opportunity for most of the long term core players going forward now on the team.

  3. Supper heavy shot NHL caliber for Thorpe and has improved incredibly according to is coach and the later hoping that he come back to the giants next year to play first line ☝️

  4. 93 is fine i guess. I would have loved it if he chose 88, I think that would have been sick.

  5. Thorpe looked great last preseason, and he has a very heavy shot. He also plays with a lot of physicality.

  6. Believe it or not, Nick Kipreos actually placed Nick at 25 th best centre…..proves he hasn’t changed…..

  7. i think number 50 would have been cool.
1- Nobody ever wore #50 for the Canadiens. Ever
    2- 50 is half of 100, and if god has a 100 score, a demigod should have 50 😛
3- Aside from Corey Crawford and Jordan Binnington, there are not really notables skaters among the other 81 players who have worn 50 at one point in any other team. He could make this number HIS, like the 66 or the 87 or 99 etc…

  8. Btw, if y’all ever get the chance to go to Istanbul.. just go! I’ve been there many times and absolutely love it.

  9. Thorpe and Tuch looked great at the prospect games in September when played together. They were fun to watch and they both play the game heavy. You can teach players to fore check, back check and play good team d, but you can't teach size. It would great to see those two on our 4th line.

  10. The thing about Suzuki to add is that he has improved his play and productivity every single year since he joins the Habs. And he is only 25, and he will be surrounded by a better team in the coming years. Can he be a 100 point center with his complete 200 foot game? Absolutely.

  11. Can't wait to see Demidov deke Levshunov out of his jock strap.

I kind of hope that he keeps 93. 91 is cool, but it would be real cool to see the guy who wears 93 bring us our 1st cup since 93.
