No, the 5-forward idea is just a gimmick. Assume they win the face-off & get puck possession. They SHOULD have it for almost the entire powerplay with that king of manpower advantage. BUT NOT THIS TEAM. They still get out hustled, out possessed, out shot, & out scored. POWERPLAY & GOALIE ARE TERRIBLE
Rachel and Russ — I was at the Phantoms and Hershey game… Gendron is extremely good. Top notch speed, elite shot… He'd have the best shot on the Flyers if he was on the team. The goal he scored was unreal. Skated past the d-pairing, and sniped it top corner… Could we have our own Jesper Bratt type of steal here? I think so, he is electrifying. We can forget about Tuomaala now, Gendron has left him in the dust.
