This is a goofy disjointed format.
Not mentioning Brock Bowers for best hands is criminal. 4 drops in 3 years. Miss me with the "this video is about WRs."
Keon Coleman ran that 4.61 in shorts and everyone instantly forgot he was one of the best in the nation. He was the best receiver on the field when LSU met FSU
FINALLY! Someone else who appreciates Ainias Smith.
Still the best intro in podcasting. Love this show!!! Waited for this episode.
So on the point about Keon Coleman's real game speed being shown in the gauntlet drill- A better measure might be using (unfortunately non-public) PFF Game Athleticism Score (GAS). Puka was a 99th percentile GAS guy in addition to the gauntlet drill performance meanwhile Coleman was a just a respectable 93rd percentile.
Odunze will have no problem, creating separation at the NFL level, as he continues to refine his route running. Barring injury and depending on who's throwing to him, he could easily wind up being the best receiver in this year's draft class.
As a Buffalo fan, I'll have this one bookmarked for rewatch.
Just getting into the Rome odunze talk. I view him as a better version of Mike Williams as a prospect.
It's amazing how many guys can't catch with their hands who dominate college football. If you don't catch with your hands, to me, you're a 3rd rounder at best. Wasnt hip on quinten Johnson in the first round last year to LAC. I liked him a lot, but if you're an outside receiver who body catches im not betting on you to learn how to. You'd figure that would be a glaring weakness you'd address quickly at the college ranks. I just don't believe in the idea of there being many guys who can get away without using the extension of their arms and still being able to be a consistent mover of the ball. Casual deep threat with speed? Okay, but them hands make so many more passes good passes to a player.
Is it just me or is no one even slightly interested by Ja'Lynn Polk?
I can’t wait! This episode two years ago is what introduced me to Khalil Shakir and got me so excited when Buffalo got him
Legette to Buffalo and then Javon Baker/Pearsall/Ladd/Roman
Keon has a similar RAS score to Allen Robinson
I think Bengals take Troy Franklin in the late 2nd round to replace Tee Higgins.
I LOVE the Danny dimes slander (as a giants fan) but penix won’t be there in round 2 but would endorse MHJ and trade back up into 1st for penix. Honestly if MHJ isn’t there just take penix with 6 and go WR second round
thankfully the Nabers I see as well…..Rome for me for Chargers need an X
49:05 Worthy is 165 at the combine…
Not only did Coleman have the best guantlet time he had top 3 times in apmost every route ran. He got injured early on at FSU.
My thing on the big WR hate is that theres alot of bust at WR no matter the size but theres less of those big WRs so the bust stick in there head more. Also, i believe teams will be more creative and use big WRs in the slot more now than they use to.
Franklin, Tez, Worthy idc I hope the Raider get one of them
Taj on the high end could be a Josh Reynolds?
hoping the bills trade up for odunze, i’d be fine w mcconkey or baker later
Future me, do they talk about Jacob Cowing?
As a Chiefs fan I want NO part in AD Mitchell. “Oh he’s a perfect fit” no. Bull. Fucking. Shit.
If marv falls to 5 and Harbaugh is serious about tackle the colts will trade whatever the chargers want for the pick.
You said N'keal Harry was best WR in 2019 draft!
As I Giants fan, I would do unspeakable things for MHJ at 6
Wish this featured Matt a little more. Came for him and was not expect the round table format. Sorry.
Ainias Smith was someone I recently heard about. When looking at some of his highlights it was instantly captivating. There is something different about this guy for sure. If the Chiefs could land him, I think they would use him the right way. Since Toney didn't work out and Rice is pretty limited on what he excels at. Ainias Smith is both those guys in one, but better. Oh, and if the injury prone Pachecho goes down he can take that over if needed.
I can't believe ya'll didn't choose this guy & his clone as the most perfect comp. Marv & AJ Green are spitting images down to the jersey number.
Niners fans! check out Ricky Pearsall starting at 11:45
After watching the Pat's trade down and lose Ladd for Polk, I had to come back to hear about Polk. No Polk convo here😢
1:40:00 nailed the Chargers strategy
I really hate listening to after the bills drafted Keon Coleman. It just sounds like their gonna play him at X and he will fail there. It's just a wrong assessment of his talent and their setting him up for failure.
I really hate how the bills evaluated talent thinking they can take 3 rounds picks and treat them Like they can compete with the chiefs they just can't if your picking like this. You are setting your team up for failure
Here for the Rome Odunze opinions after the Bears drafted him… He's in a great position to fit into a lineup of receivers with other specialties that set up his ability to cook…
hard to trust Brett anymore after he said Quentin Johnston is "REALLY good" last year
1:14:28 – 1:15:35 Frank Reich, Thomas Brown, and Shawn Jefferson all need to be tried for coaching malpractice for how they treated Jonathan Mingo in 2023. Dave Canales and Brad Idzik have a ton of work to do, obviously, but if they can get him in his right role early on in 2024, it should be a harbinger of good things for the Carolina Panthers.
lol Penix in round 2. that did not age well😂
Cephus SEASON
Cowing ended up nicely in San Fran. And McDaniels took both of the Washington boys. With Malik being the dark horse steal.
Hello. Which 1 of this grouping shall I keep; Montgomery in 6th, Reed in 15th orr Ford in 17th? Already keeping Collins in 9th. It’s A 12 team FULL ppr league which starts 1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, FLEX (RB, WR), TE & DST with about 18-24 total keepers, only can keep 2. Thanks A bunch!

Didn't AD Mitchell have the best catch rate over the last 2 years?
