Wayne in the Building 👀🏠

Alex Ovechkin is just two goals away from breaking Wayne Gretzky’s all-time NHL goals record — and fittingly, The Great One is in attendance at the Capitals vs. Blackhawks game. When the arena broadcaster points him out, Gretzky receives a roaring standing ovation from the crowd.

  1. As a flyers fan must say ,pure class Alex you have been great to watch from day one. Hope it's your cup this year. Then it's ours. Thanks for the great 8. Phila4life 🇨🇦 🍁 🇨🇦

  2. When Ovi breaks Gretzky's goal record, what does it really mean??
Gretzky played in an era it was much harder to score. Where players were much more physical and had a shorter NHL shelf-life. A league where an enforcer on your line was a necessity…
Ovi played in an era of 6 goal games and relatively soft hockey compared to the late 80's to early 2000.
Not meaning to take anything away from Ovi's achievement… I'm just saying, they are not the same! People saying Ovechkin is the greatest goal scorer ever must be young, new to hockey, or just dumb.

  3. We all know that Ovechkin is going to beat his record, how can he not when you watch how the game is played and they feed him the goals.. I'm not a hater I just think it would be different if he actually played the game like the other players.

  4. Gretz not looking ACTUALLY happy. Come on man, you dominated an era where a beach ball taped to the ice was an all star goalie. This is a different sport now

  5. Гретцки красавчик. Такой стройный. Свежий. Хорошо выглядит. ❤

  6. Грецки установил высокую планку в хоккее. Он однозначно великий игрок своего времени. 👍

  7. I like how he faked the goalie, couldn't roofed it, but went behind the net and kept it. He wants to beat it on one of his iconic one timers from the circle. Gotta love the man's dedication and devotion. Truly incredible
