   Who cares. Backlund is a 2 way 3rd line C who plays all situations and against the other teams top line. I wouldn’t care if he scored 12 goals a season from now on

   I ve said it all along…he was a sentimental pick…no knock on backs as a person but he is not Captain material. Kadri would ve been my pick, maybe Weegs an A ? Marky ?

   Backlund is not Captain material. If I’m Conroy I’m dealing Backlund, Markstrom and Mangiapane this summer.
   Weegar will be the next Captain!
