I've been saying they should trade Konecny for a while now for reasons I can go on about for hours. It actually makes a lot less sense to keep him at this point. Tippett getting $6 mil isn't terrible if he's scoring around 50 points. Konecny getting almost $9 mil a season for his production isn't good asset management.
