The St. Louis Blues just made a major statement by winning their 12th consecutive game setting a franchise record but that’s not it as we get multiple updates on Jordan Binnington closing in a on records, Jim Montgomery proving to be the best coach in the league and on Blues top prospect Dalibor Dvorsky. Mark Pye and Darius Domingues break down all this and more on this episode of Hat Trick HQ.

  1. Die hard STL fan here. I told everyone at the start of the season that this Blues team would make the playoffs and make waves. No one believed me…

  2. I’ve seen a guy arguing that the 2019 team wasn’t as physical as this 2025 team… That cannot be right unless they record hits differently nowadays‼️

  3. I’m a die hard blues fan. I’m so hyped rn. Snuggy is gonna score a goal soon. Hes looking good. Let’s gooooooo blues!!

  4. Too many young studs to pick from. Hollaway – Bolduc – Neighbors + Snugger +Dvorsky + Thomas & Kyrou in their prime. Hofer ready when Binner is finished. The next 5 years of being a legit cup contender. Not to mention we have been doing this without Parayko.

  5. I’ve been a Blues fan since their inception and I honestly wasn’t sure they would be in the playoffs this season, I felt they would just miss them by a point or two. Nobody expected this kind of run, and trust me – no Blues fan would be arguing with that based on the inconsistency they showed for the first 4 months of the season. I’m as excited as I was in 2019 and I believe they can have a strong run, but even if they don’t, this is setting up the team for the next 4-5 years. And that is truly exciting. As far as the team MVP, I’d have to pick Thomas, especially since the 4 Nations tourney. He goes up against the opposing team’s top line every night and has been as strong defensively as he has been offensively. He’s been at the top or near the top in scoring since their tourney.

  6. Gotta be Robert Thomas. He creates so many dangerous chances, clean zone entries and exits, and he's also grown into a great faceoff guy. He just does everything well for the Blues.

  7. The most exciting part of this run to me is that this WAS supposed to be a retool/building-block year. Now we’re starting to see that this core, which is all 22-26 years old, is ready to contend even before the younger ones in Holloway Broberg neighbors and boluc hit their prime. They’re all 23 and under! Dvorsky, snuggerud, Stenberg, Jiricek and Lindstein are all not even contributing yet. Doug has perfected a retool that sometimes takes franchises a 10 year rebuild. Every year we will be better for the next 5-6 years at least.

  8. As a Blues fan at the start of the season I was hoping we'd sneak into the playoffs. In January I thought we were finished.

  9. Cam Fowler since coming on to the blues has been someone to open up other players to give them open looks at goals or is able to take shots on goal himself. He's changed how opponents go at our players

  10. awesome to hear someone give hofer the credit he deserves, i love his game and he isn't talked about enough!! favorite player has gotta be buch though, i love his sense of humor lmao

  11. I've liked Neighbours game lately. Course there is Kyrou, Binner, and even Hofer when he gets to start games. Just seems like everyone is contributing.

  12. As a blues fan I am surprised by their success but very happy about it as well. I said we should be sellers at the deadline but I was wrong. Thomas for MVP and the spark plug Nathan Walker for an honorable mention for energizing this team. LGB

  13. At the top of the season I thought we'd fight but maybe not succeed in getting a wildcard but stay consistently okay the whole season. I did not expect to wildcard like this.

  14. Hollywood has impressed the shit out of me. Skill, defensively responsible and a board badger for a skilled player. He gets the young player award. Thomas gets the best player. Versatile. He does everything well above board and the passing is elite

  15. Even our local news was counting the blues out. Jim obviously turned things around and getting contributions from everyone. Its awrsome. I dont want to say best time ever, but to get to 2019, now we have another team winning and got a great shot at running for another. Lets Go Blues
