  1. Visiting daughter and grandkids – riding a high of watching, live, the Oilers win over the Knights and tonight’s win over the sharks. I like your reasonable take on the top-heavy line up yet the possibility of the Oilers pulling the “whole” thing off!

  2. The Oilers are not as good as last year. They don't have a reliable goalie. Their defense are shaky. Their offenses are not as powerful as last year. Take, for example, Hyman scored 54 goals last year, but he can score only half of that this year. This tells us that the Oilers can hardly reach last year's achievement.

  3. Jeff jackson submarined Edmonton in one day — he made Edmonton older smaller slower and cost more. He should have zero input on roster construction. He likely set Edmonton back by 2 years in the window years.

  4. We should find out likely federic mcdavid ekholm and skinner back likely around the stl game. Rob brown thinks drasi will be out for a few games and that works out to be the Stl game next wednesday. So we could see the first full line up with out kane by next wednesday. Hopefully all are healthy for the 5 remaining games.

I think we are seeing ard and skinner what they should of done for most of the sesaon. Ard 3 goals in 5 games and skinner 4 in 9 games. Henrique has 2 goals with more responsibility since the duo went down.

Nice to see brown score a confident goal. His support scoring and confidence could help down the stretch.

Ard and skinner should be around 20 goals each at the point this season as the base line so off by 5 and 7 goals . 12 goals is alot but if they can provide the support scoring down the stretch. They are peaking at the right time.

Kane and federic we dont know alot how they will fit it into this group. They are x factors as they bring that north south nasty element that helps everyone play bigger.

Perry has likely exceeded expectations by +5 goals but henriques evens it out as he is -5 goals below expectation, he should be around 15 goals.

Edmonton should at least 12 more goals from the july 1st signings.

  5. The great Thing on playoffs: the n is so small, can all those counting stats from the season even be used as a comparison? That’s why random heroes who did nothing in season always show up someway
