Actually not as great as a game it appears. Scoring 5 goals a game is not happening in the playoffs. Knies attempting the Michigan in the 1st period does not demonstrate discipline but a hot dog attitude. Not great for the playoffs.
Leafs only need to play 500 hockey to win the division. Idk if we really want to meet Ottawa but they might catch the panthers
Best chance we have had in 25 years to make the conference finals. Florida is an easy out, Ottawa doesn’t scare me, Washington is over rated and Carolina is in turmoil. I love our chances.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again: Nick Robertson is as good as Cole Caufield and Alexander Debrincat (comparing players of similar size and skillset). All he needs is a consistent chance to play.

I'm sure we all collectively hope McCabe makes it back for playoffs but Myers did a great job this game coming in to the lineup. Feels good having a solid 7th D waiting in the wings when needed
Wild that after a game the Leafs beat the Columbus Blue Jackets 5-0, Columbus has still outscored the Leafs 11-8 on the season. 😅 This team man. 😂

That might do it for the Jackets. The magic has worn out, would have been a hell of a story but the habs potentially making it is also very exciting. Hopefully the Lightning and Leafs can get a few more wins and we can lock in a Leafs Sens first round!

Funny but I got a feeling at the start of the game that the Leafs were gonna win 4-0. Then I realized McCabe and Kampf were out and still I thought the Leafs were going to dominate. Like Steve said, somehow the Leafs are dialed in now. Matthews, Knies, Tanev, Nylander, J.T., Woll and Stolarz. All dialed in for a few games now. However I'm a Leafs fan so I changed my final score guess to 4-1. Of course I was right to guess I would be wrong just a tad. I just didn't expect the Leafs to be dialed in more than I thought they were. I believe that Berube got them ready for playoff success. Hopefully Pacioretty and Hakanpaa come back for the playoffs and contribute some good games. We'll need more than 20 players to win 16. By the way, my guess also before this game for the Stanley Cup final was Toronto vs Winnipeg. Yup the cup is coming back to Canada. It'll be a great time. My heart might need a few times to be brought back from death between now and the final but I believe. Berube for PM! Robertson for Toronto mayor! Rieves for chief of police! (yes he'll also play a couple of games in their long run) Matthews for the Conny Smythe! I don't have a clue yet who wins the cup but Toronto vs Winnipeg is gonna happen! 😉 Go Leafs Go! Go Leafs Go!
