I wanna say the atmosphere being meh for a bit had more to do with the fan that went to hospital as well as the possibility there were less Calgary fans due to snowpocalypse.
I believe Rogers is still the largest rink in square footage at over 1 million.

Obviously the loudest barn in the league come playoff time (maybe second to montreal).
Also I was at the game and I'm surprised you guys didn't mention it. The guy having a heart attack in the stands took a lot of the energy out of the building. That was definitely scary.
