“No owner of a professional sports team that uses a tax-supported facility for most of its home games and receives financial assistance from the state or a political subdivision thereof shall cease playing most of its home games at the facility and begin playing most of its home games elsewhere unless the owner either:
(A) Enters into an agreement with the political subdivision permitting the team to play most of its home games elsewhere;
(B) Gives the political subdivision in which the facility is located not less than six months’ advance notice of the owner’s intention to cease playing most of its home games at the facility and, during the six months after such notice, gives the political subdivision or any individual or group of individuals who reside in the area the opportunity to purchase the team.”

Where do you want the Browns to play?
Build a movable dome play half of the games in brook park and half in Cleveland!😊
That saints game was in ‘23 minimum…. Maybe even ‘22. When was the land purchased? Didn’t the renderings just get released last year? I think you jumped ship pretty recently, which is fine but let’s keep a clear picture here.
I think they should get additional funding from Columbus. During the dome build on the lake front the browns play in Columbus to recoup some of the money from the state for the water front dome.

Cleveland, which is also Brookpark, has some of the worst winters in the United States (lake effect snow). Even with a domed stadium, no major events want to be here in the winter. Also, there's very little public transportation to Brookpark from surrounding areas. The current stadium is paid for. Why invest 3-4 billion in a new structure that will ordinarily be used less than 10 days per year. Only the owner will recover his investment, while those who have invested to build businesses downtown will suffer. I have a suggestion, let's build the Browns a new stadium the year after they win the Superbowl.
It might be difficult for a human to stick a shovel in semi-frozen dirt. But a backhoe doesn't care.
There’s plenty of schools, parks, etc. that could use that money more, but nah let’s give it to the billionaire for his 💩 team instead 🤡
Even the snow bowl when they beat Pittsburgh and they cried about the weather being a factor: A. Both teams play in similar weather outdoors and B. 🤡’s didn’t realize they outplayed the Browns when that storm came in, so anything that storm tried to help them win 🤦♂️
I’m ok for the dome so the stadium can be used more than just football, but I feel it should be paid by Haslam and not get help by the state.
PROPOSAL – Taxpayers and Billionaire each contribute 50% of stadium costs, then Taxpayers and billionaire share 50/50% of ALL revenues generated in the stadium complex. (PREDICTION – Billionaire will agree to this fair plan exactly . . . NEVER.)
Bright side Cuyahoga County wont get boned with another stadium tax on top of the one they have. The whole state is going to get boned with it BS!!

What I don't get is why do people keep trying to fight it the dome would bring more money to the state than what we get right now so we can fix schools and stuff we need to dome so we can host the super bowl and all type of events

Build it they will come two fold. At least someone has vision, and can see the big picture this facility will be utilized 24/7-365 Where can it be built in Cleveland? There’s no land to and all the land north of the Shorway is all landfill.
Is there any truth to the story that Ohios education budget is 800,000.00 dollars and they only have 200,000.00 in total. Seems to me that 600 should be re-directed to the Ohio dept of education and JIMMY FINDS HIS 600 from one of his rich buddies. I don’t live in Ohio anymore for a longtime so It’s really not my place to care one way or another but I do want to see the Browns play in a brand new dome stadium, regardless of its location, but like I said, not really my call

You never really want to dig in the winter, it is possible but often leads to a lot of compaction issues
Buffalo has worse weather than buffalo yet they built an open air stadium. Why can't we at least have a retractable roof? That way it gives us on nice days a chance to play in the weather
