At 12:58 of the 1st period, the referee initially waived off Greer’s goal. After discussion with the other officials, the goal was allowed but would be reviewed. After the review, it was determined that there was a distinct kicking motion by Greer to put the puck in the net and the goal was disallowed again, so the score remained tied at 1 between Montreal and Florida.
