  1. You could see how incredible this team has the chance to be after some time together-even when they were down 4-2. We just went from Nate,& otherwise below average centers to Mac,Nelson, Coyle,& Drury (or maybe Kelly at times). Show me better. At least in the West-no better 4 exists. And EJ being back is great for all the intangibles-but also on the ice depthwise. I was ecstatic after the Nelson,& Coyle trades but said we still needed 1 more thing before the bell. Nothing flashy anymore but just 1 more decent, veteran #6/7 dman. EJ fits the bill potentially good enough,& is willing to provide whatever they need.

Competition in the West is significantly tougher,& deeper than when we dominated the 2022 playoffs. But I really feel this team has a chance to be just as good-or maybe overall better,& more versatile than that team. Biggest issue is so many new guys,& not a lot of time to jell. But as Nate said-adding veterans with tons of playoff experience should make it a quicker transition. This could be an incredibly memorable May,& hopefully June. As always injuries will be key-as it is for every team. But unlike the last few yrs-this team could suffer a few injuries & still have a shot cuz they are so deep-especially at forward. But lets hope they finally get some injury luck-after multiple seasons of being as injured as any perennial playoff team.
