  1. Right now Larkin is still the main guy but I always thought that by the time the Red Wings are actually good enough he'll be like the Avalanche's captain. Landeskog is good but no way he is the best or even one of the top players. Oh, and he's an awesome leader which the Red Wings are still working on getting as well as culture, chemistry and all of that stuff. Larkin has always been fine imo BUT they still need a lot more than what he brings.

  2. Now that we have the money for Larkin, Raymond, and Seider, it's time to actually get good players in the free agent market no mid fucks were done with this shit

  3. Make a bid for rfa d men Bouchard and Miller. 25 yr olds with 3 yr exp. The play opposite sides so can fit with Mo and Simon or on a line of their own. Then let Mazer have a full yr and bring up Danailson. GR for ASP and MBN until they are ready and see if Bushelnikov (sp?) can come to GR. If Larkin plays as he is now drop to second line and let Kaspers excitement carry that 1st line. LGRW 🏒

  4. Trade every single person on the roster get like 7 1 round picks this year and next and play an entire nhl team of 18-29 year olds! What could go wrong?

  5. Max Bultman over at The Athletic has suggested SY should target Vadislav Gavrikov in FA. D core next year could be:

    Gavrikov / Mo
    Ed / ASP
    Chiarot / ALJO
(Holl and Gustofsson in the press box)

That looks pretty good to me

  6. Can't stand when people try to critique goaltending. It's really easy to sit there and watch a slow motion replay and say it's a soft goal. In the moment, I didn't blame Talbot one bit. You have to open up your legs to move side to side. He'd saved their ass plenty of times before that. No point in criticizing him for that goal.

And sure, Kane can put in an effort on defense. He's never going to be good at it.

  7. Fire Steve Y or this team will never get good he will sign another's over prices FA defense that sucks like all his other signings. Fire Steve
