  1. Video lag stops at 18:16. YouTube decided to have major encoding issues tonight. Hope you guys still enjoy. Audio should be fine the whole way!

  2. Lane Train and Captain Clutch get the job done. Monty made some key stops in the 3rd to keep this game in reach.

  3. Fowler lost all of the important BC college hockey tournaments this year. Beanpot, Hockey East, and the NCAAs.
That guy wants a scorched Earth tour next year, and I’m all for it.

  4. As far as Fowler is concerned I think college will not really benefit him he needs to challenge himself, Laval should be his objective.

  5. 19k subs!! By the end of our playoff run, 21k subs to match the number of seats at the Bell Centre. Let’s go!

  6. Hutson is literally the steal of the decade. What a fkn diamond in the rough. This kid is gonna be a hall of famer. Qoute me now.

  7. What’s crazy about hutson making it into the top ten rookie defensemen with the most post of all time is that all the other 9 in the list were from 30-50 years ago. The nhl was a very different place back then. Raking up points was easier in every way. A rookie putting up those numbers in our era is really impressive to say the least.

Can’t wait to see how he develops in the coming years. With demidov coming, Suzuki getting better each year, Caufield being a scoring machine, I can’t really see him not being able to recreate another great season next year.

  8. Another great episode keep up the great work and the awesome content, also another great win for the Habs baby! Side note… tribal Chief 🤔 is someone a WWE or Roman Reigns fan😮 love the cross over

  9. the stretch pass from slaf to hutson on the tying goal was great love to see slafs progression this year. hes really turning out and yeah he is only 21 its gonna come with time
gotta see cole shoot more tho tbh

  10. Since no one said it so far in the comments, HUGE 🥳 for Josh Anderson's ❤ in lhis game. He's the perfect playoff player.

  11. What resilience to drop out of a playoff spot but then beat the Stanley Cup champs back-to-back to claw back in! WOW!

  12. It should be noted that Lane Hutson is a defenceman, and playing for a team that is 17th in the league for goals scored. In that context he is tied for 1st in assists for defencemen (with Cale Makar), in 4th place for defencemen total points, and tied for 7th in assists among all forwards.

That is an incredible achievement. Take away his helpers, and the team is in the basement. Whoever picked this guy for the draft should get an award of some kind. Hutson was passed over by most of the teams twice, before Montreal took him as thirtieth pick in the second round (62 overall).

It would be very good for the Habs to make the playoffs, and get the young guys some playoff experience. That would give them a lot of encouragement next year.

    Go Habs!

  13. It was a great comeback win. Nick Suzuki, a true leader. Lane Hutson and the team don't give up, and tonight proved that. Go HABS Go.

  14. Ive watched that Suzuki goal at least a dozen times and Im still not tired of it. Not only one of the best goals of the season, but a pre playoff statement from the Captain! Most exciting team of the year, with Hutson as a Norris and Calder contender in his rookie season! WOWWWW!!!

  15. Florida went after Hutson last night and it is just a matter of time we are going to lose our stars. if we don't protect them. I am begging Marty , please put Xhekaj up on the forth line. Armia is playing hurt or is he just doing his disappearing act. Evans has just lost his game. Pezzetta is just not a NHL player. This forth line is killing us and earlier they were our second best line. Lets put Kapanen, Evans and Xhekaj on the forth line.

  16. Average goals per game per team 2024-25 (NHL) : 2.99
Average goals per game per team 1980-81 (NHL) : 3.80
    Lane Hutson points 2024-25 : 59
Larry Murphy points 1980-81 : 76 (NHL record)
Pro-rated points, Larry Murphy, at average goals per game 2024-25 : 59.8 (pro-rated NHL record)
Lane Hutson's rookie season will arguably be the best points season from a rookie defenceman in NHL history, if he gets 1 more point until the end of the season.

  17. Reminder. In 1984-85, the Season was 80 games. For a real comparison, Well have to stop at 80 games for Points, the extra 2 games will be awesome though for at least 2 more points on his behalf. 🙂

  18. Matheson needs a game off, a break, he makes way to many costly mistakes. He gets rid of the puck like aweful players in BEER Leagues throwing the puck anywhere cause they can't play

  19. habs games are region blocked for me, but i was listening to the radio broadcast with a few beers and i LOST IT in the third period and OT. lane hutson is the next top defenseman in the league!! go habs go!!!

  20. To go to a Montréal Canadiens game is soo expensive, travel there and back, food and beverage, tickets price$$$ hundreds $$$$?? Maybe next year…

  21. Gotta trade Matheson as soon as the season end in a trade for a second center. With the emergence of Hutson we can spare that guy easily. He is actually the weak link the team..! This guy is a ticking bomb, man… But yeah, the times they are changing 😉

  22. This team after going 4-0 and back to back wins against the reigning Stanley Cup Champions, I'd say Montreal is ready for this team in the playoffs, and the team is ready for the playoffs. Give use demidov and it's gonna be a fun show to watch.

  23. The Habs couldn't get a lucky bounce all game … they had their chances but they couldn't finish … finally the Hockey Gods had enough and decided they deserved a better fate … and the hockey miracle happened.
