rule should be clear if you touch the referee you should be banned for the rest of the season and you team should forfeit playoff whatever there ranking is no futur draft for 3 years straight so these little gangster will understand do no touch the ref accident can happen yes but frustration isnt allowed vs ref
i think the refs should be fair game. many of them are crooked and allow dirty hits from their favorite teams, and they should know they will have their ass handed to them if they come in to be crooked.
That first clip has me confused. It truly looks like he didn't hit the ref, and the ref recoiling back is a lot later than you'd expect if he was actually hit.
Maurice in '55 punching the referee was the best thing to ever happen in hockey! How many hits on the head with a wooden stick did he receives in his career?And right in from of officials that never done anything? And being hold by the ref while the opposing player has both free hands and could punch Maurice at will is why Maurice slugged one. Thanks Maurice!
