That was absolutely pathetic. Canucks just returned home after taking two days off from a big road trip, and THIS is how they display their efforts tonight in front of their fans? Hell no.
They had FIVE power play goals throughout the entire game, and not once could they ever get a single power play goal, or at least any other goal.
I feel really sorry for the fans, paid so much money to go see their team play like crap and get themselves smoked 5-0 by the other team, ELIMINATED from playoff contention.

I remember Joshua dominating physically as well as scoring timely goals. I realize he is coming back from illness this year but Toc is praising weakly and when you begin weakening your truth to your players your leadership will suffer.

Last season was the Canucks’ one hit wonder
Demko wasnt ready for this game. With the loss of scoring drive with the loss of JT and injuries the goalies have got to carry this team like Lankonin did earlier this year. He brought us this far and has had more than enough rest. It seems that once Demko is healthy Kevin is to be kicked to the curb. Build a new back up and move Demko. The reason kevin started struggling was he was overplayed and that was because of little trust in his back up,( who carried us into the playoffs recently)this is an uncomfortable employment sittuation all around. We dont have anything near a number one and number two goalie as far as ive seen and playing one till he craps out aint much of a plan.
As we speak, deeep in the Canucks war room, management is trying to figure out what it can get for Pettersson, Hughes, and Demko. After calculating the possibilities, it becomes clear to Allvin to trade all of his picks and prospects in the summer, in order to finish 17th again next year. Hooray!

As a goaltender who played 13 years and over 1000 games I said on the day Luongo was traded to Vancouver that he would NEVER put his hands on the Stanley Cup as a starting goaltender, and, he never did!
In 2008 after watching just 7 NHL LA Kings games with Jonathan Quick in net I said that he would be a Stanley Cup champion and that I would have traded Luongo, Kesler an a second round draft pick for Quick that year.
I was laughed at.
Now I will say this…Demko will never be a Stanley Cup Champion as a starting goaltender…NEVER!
