What an awful game by the Rangers! I’m glad they got the win and now I want them to make the playoffs only for Gabe Perreault. He played a solid first NHL game tonight. 3 shots on net. The rest of the Rangers were awful. The Defense was a train wreck. Keandre scores a goal but completely gives up a goal. Trocheck probably played his worst game and yet ends up the number one star because of the OT game winner. He was awful. He gave up 2 goals without question. Mika, Laffy, Kreider (gifted a goal) all out to lunch. They are so soft I just can’t take it anymore. Before tonight I didn’t even want them to make the playoffs because truly they don’t deserve it. But now I would love to see Perreault get a chance for playoff hockey. But this Ranger team is the worst in decades. And I can’t believe that the coach still plays all the top guys who have played so horrible all season. Play more of Berard. He hustles like crazy. Play more of Othman. He’s giving it 100%. Play Jones. He wants it more than the other D men. But no, Laviolette goes to Mika, Laffy, Keandre, etc. Yet they show no effort. It’s been mostly all quit in NY this whole season. What a disgrace. Props to Cuylle, another one who hustles every shift. He deserves the award.
