The Bruins were this close…

The Bruins were this close…The Ducks brought the chaos in this one—mixing in some football, basketball, and even a little WWE with their hockey. From Vatrano’s body slam to LaCombe’s accidental alley-oop, this game had everything. The young guns led the charge, with Carlsson, McTavish, and Nesterenko all getting on the board. The Ducks dominated the Bruins, outshooting them 37-25 and securing a much-needed 6-2 win. Can they keep this momentum going and get back to .500? 1. Where are the actual Ducks cos they were replaced by fully upgraded models last night? Fantastic win & full respect to Harkins for taking care of his own business. Some wins definitely have more value?

  2. Yeah honestly I’m ok with Cronin for now but man we gotta drop Clune and Anderson like a bad date. Easily the reasons why are so far back in power play and pk.

  3. Great game. Except for one glaring thing. Where the heck were our veterans? Harkins gets brutally crosschecked, and he, a non fighter, has to take care of his own business? (Props to him for that, btw) Where was Gudas, Trouba, Strome, Killorn? It didn't have to be a fight, but where was a huge hit in response? Why is Vatrano, who shouldn't be answering the bell, the only vet with fire enough to stand up for our guys? This is why a guy like the Ross's and Deslauriers of hockey is needed on a team filled with skill players. Especially when those already in the lineup are not veteran enough to man up.

  4. We had the power of God AND anime on our side this game. Every night should be Anime Night if we're going to win 6-2!

  5. Really well played game by the Ducks. Great that all those Bruins fans had to sit quietly & watch their team get dominated by the Ducks. Encouraging to see the young players be successful.

  6. LaCombe has improved so much since last season. He had 17 points in 71 games going -24. Now he has 39 points in 64 games going +4

  7. I’m loving the ways the boys meshed in this one! I love your recap of it. Can’t wait to see them play the wild live in Minnesota! Go Ducks!

  8. Great game. Good to see 4 ducks approaching 20 goals been awhile. Love seeing Frankie the fireplug. Got some puck love tonight. Bruins a gutted shadow of them former selves

  9. Making a defenseman taking a faceoff on a 5 on 3 is such a damn joke. And then the refs missing the most obvious trips.

  10. You guys put out some of the best hockey commentary! I look forward to your content after every game! Keep it up!

  11. Signing a few quality free agents and improving on power play should be the top priorities going into next season.

  13. I want to see more nights like this from the DUCKS. Then I would like a shirt that says "DONT DUCK WITH US"

  14. The Ducks young guns are starting to show they belong in the NHL. I had no doubt this would be the case, but glad to start seeing it on a semi-regular basis. Next year should be fun with some cautious optimism for a potential playoff run. Another top ten pick this year will help down the line as well. That and maybe we get Sennecke and Solberg next year. Honestly, the Ducks have a legit chance of being a VERY scary team in a few years.
