This is a massive wakeup call for the Sens if your going to get swept this season by the last place team in the eastern conference and your in a 1st wildcard spot in a very important last stretch of the season you have to win games like this. The next couple against Tampa and Florida won't be easy expecting a bounceback effort the curse of the Sabres is over move on and focus on the next one

Lots of perimeter play and passing behind the boards and then when they get a chance to shoot they either don't shoot or they simply MISS THE NET. They miss the net way too much for NHL players. If you hit the goalie pads, you have a chance to recover and get a dirty goal, but if you miss the net completely you often just lose the zone and the possession. Institute a 25 push-ups policy for every missed shot!

Ullmark is a massive sieve. 24th in save percentage and 43rd in goals against, which will both drop after this terrible outing. Forsberg was hot and should have started. Green is a moron and I never wanted this clown hired in the first place. Merilianen is by far our best goalie and he is sitting in the minors. This is what happens when your first time owner hired his best friend to be a first time GM.

Ok, well, keep Crookshank over Highmore until Cousins comes back (no, we obviously don’t need Highmore for the PK). This is a no brainer btw as Highmore has proven nothing to deserve to be here. Ullmark has more ppg I feel like. Never put Gaudette on the PP over Pinto, not sure what that was about. And ffs someone make a strong play TO the net. Stop making the pretty plays. Playoffs will stomp you if you try to always wait to shoot on the open shots. We obviously play strong, but we can’t finish. And when you do shoot, shoot with intent, not just to put it on net. Sanderson can literally do everything in this sport btw, he’s one of the best and so glad to have him.

A team that can’t beat the fucking Buffalo Sabres once doesn’t deserve to make the playoffs. If we choke this shit I’m done with this team. There is no excuse to miss this year. We have 7 fucking home games and one away game left. If they can’t finish this off with home ice advantage they are all a bunch of losers
