Detroit is starting to really feel the impact of signing too many players to took much money. Individually those deals might not have been too big of an over-sign but now they have quite a few players that because of their deals will be very difficult to move.

Ken Holland is starting to lose his mind. He signed Helm to that huge deal(5 years or something) even though he barely ever shows up because he’s injured. Then we have Mrazek, which even though I use to love him, he’s not worth being on our team. Sometimes Mrazek will replace Howard in net and Mrazek won’t do so good where Howard is consistently doing well in net. It’s just a competition people think is happening between the two goaltenders but Howard is just better. Then you got the old guys no one wants, Ericsson who is basically brain dead at this point, and Daley which I only imagined we signed him because he just won a Stanley Cup. I can’t see the Wings letting go of Kronwall just because they think the defensemen need someone who was once an amazing player to guide the younger players. The Wings will probably still sign some player with some talent in the offseason because we traded Nielsen, and then the cycle just starts over.
