The Edmonton Oilers will travel to the Sin City to open up a four-game road trip on Tuesday at T-Mobile Arena against the Golden Knights. Head Coach Kris Knoblauch said after Sunday’s practice that the Oilers won’t have captain Connor McDavid, defencemen Mattias Ekholm and John Klingberg or goaltender Stuart Skinner to begin their trip with hopes that they can get back to full health and join the team later on in California. Leon Draisaitl returned to the lineup with a bang on Saturday against the Flames, notching two goals and an assist in Edmonton’s 3-2 overtime victory.

I was waiting for this Austin's pre-game report from Spain! Now we are in the final countdown, every game is important! It seems that home-ice advantage against LA may be one of the keys of the upcoming playoffs' first round… I had this game and the 2 games against LA marked in my calendar…
Moreover, playing good games now will be important for the team's confidence before playoffs' time. Despite this season's highs & lows, I feel that if the Oilers play well in these last regular season games, there is a good chance to get a good-solid performace in the playoffs. Go Oilers!
Hear me out. LTIR Ekholm for the remainder of the season. He’s been hurt since before the 4 nations and hasn’t looked right since. (He was even pulled for Sweden but drew back in due to injury.)

I really am not expecting much from the team now or during playoffs season…I am going to say it'll be 9-1 Vegas. As they lost to the kraken 8-1 and vegas is a statistically better team I went 9-1.
This will be an easy game for vegas
Will get 2nd place again. Tonight's game 2-2 for the third period.
This can go 2 ways. Edmonton gets dominated or its a close blow-for-blow battle. Players to watch: Drai, Skinner, Pickard, and Podz. I expect that Drai will have another 3 pt night or at least 2 pt night. Skinner didn't get a goal against the Flames but he was still buzzing alot, probably scores a goal this game. Pickard is going to have show up big time this game if the Oilers want a chance at winning, but defense also has to help with that. I was pretty impressed at Podkolzins game against Calgary, if he can keep up that type of play then he can get an assist and maybe even a goal this game, love the guys hustle all-around. 4-3 Oilers in regulation, IF goaltending+defense can show up this game. If not? Probably a 5-2 or 4-1 beatdown. I really hope we don't see another disaster defense. Pretty frustrating to watch them give up the puck so much in their own end because they treat the puck like a grenade and toss it blindly for it to be picked off easily.

Nuge is showing he can run a line when hes not playing with scrubs. Knobber wants McDrai so bad, just make it a line
It's unbelievable that this team hasnt won a division with McDavid and Draisaitl
At some point we have to stop making excuses. Ownership is horrible. Never won a division title and are best players don't show up in the playoffs.
The Kings are highly underrated this year. We need that home ice advantage imo
Player health and wellness are certainly #1; but I also really hope McDavid can make it to 100 points this season!
