It's easier to get lucky in the regular season, harder to get lucky in the playoffs. Skinner's goal called back is a tough break but let's see what happens in the playoffs. Nobody calls it before it happens, right? That's the hard truth for the Seattle Kraken. I'm not too worried. I'm not, seriously. They don't have McDavid or Draisaitl in the lineup, what do you expect? They are going to win 8-0 like the Lightning did over Utah in the same night?

this game is a perfect example of how bad our defense still is without ekholm and how bad our forwards are without 97 & 29. The PP attempts were awful and the forward group look so disorganized on the rush. I hope Oilers mgmt finally realize that they need to address goaltending this summer.
What a disgusting game. This whole team needs a closed door meeting with god if they are going to even make the playoffs. Everyone around us for the last spots are winning.

That’s two straight games during which the Oilers have allowed at least four goals. Losing 6-1 to a struggling Kraken team no doubt is a real head-scratcher.
I watched the first period and a half or so at a restaurant last night. It was 0-0 when I left but by the time I got back to my hotel room it was 3-0 and I knew there was no point in watching any more of the game. I was disappointed but the team is dealing with a bad injury bug at the worst possible time of the year.

Had enough of no scoring on big chances free in front of the goal. Enough from not training groups like defense in organisation on ice, enough of passing easily and safe out of our goal area!!! If only the missing of two members of a team and a questionable goalieshould be tge reason for such a disaster and chaos on ice, wow what a hell of knowledge!!!

It was disgusting looking the second period, recignizing the chaos in front of Pickard, than hearing the critic on him. REALLY??? PICKARD was the loneliest boy on the ice, no doubt! And it was a shame what teammates fid in front of him. Now anybody noticed what Batman and Robin did every game and what it means being target no.1 for each opponent. Nobody foes have this quality. First round exit will be a big wake-up for this group as it is constructed. They kept as many parts as possible from last year and they just haven’t put it together like before. We lost Holloway and Broberg but they weren’t such a big factor in the regular season last year. Thanks for continuing to do these rundowns even when it appears you at a loss for words to understand what/why things happened. You could make a generic script for every Oilers loss and just mention goaltending, scoring depth, attention to details defensively and untimely turnovers. We would never tell which loss is which.😉
Should go back to the hockey I grew up with in the early 80s to challenging plays horse shit not a fan of the shoot outs great way loose a great game😢

Pickard has been good this year for his pay grade. However without investing in an elite starter goalie we can never win the cup. It starts with trading Bouchard this summer and not paying him 10m a year.
