TSN Hockey analyst Martin Biron joins Domino’s That’s Hockey to explain why he believes the Maple Leafs are the best team in the Atlantic Division, discuss if Toronto is good enough to overcome its lack of playoff experience in net, and share whether he’d start Anthony Stolarz or Joseph Woll in Game 1.

Talk about a copium take. Bless your heart 😂
Is that all u guys talk about the leafs no wonder why they cursed
Did he also shave off a part of his brain?
Leafs are gonna lose to Ottawa in R1 🤣🤣
In a couple short minutes I have lost years' worth of respect for Biron's opinion.
The Leafs are designed to be a great regular season time and they are. The Leafs will win the Division.
The Leafs are not designed to be a playoff team. You have to win games in which you score 2 goals and not hope to score enough goals to cover weaknesses.
Maybe Florida slowed down a bit, but better than Tampa ? Who just acquired Bjorkstrand and Gourde without losing anything ! Kucherov, Point, Guentzel, Hagel, Hedman, Cirelli, Paul, McDonagh, Raddysh, Cernak, Moser … most importantly a very good season from Vasilevsky.
Who does Toronto have ? Matthews, Nylander, Marner, Tavares, Reilly, Knies, Ekmann-Larsson, McMann, Domi, Laughton, Carlo, Tanev and a split net between two good goaltenders who never played #1.
Not putting money on Toronto’s core 4 in the playoffs.
The next week will tell the tale with two games with Florida and one with Tampa.
Biron is smoking jib. With no goaltending or defence?
Better but as hard working ?as physical? as tenacious?
They have to show us in playoffs, that's the eternal question with this team
Roster is the same as last year, then they choke, Playoffs is a different monster.
What's he been smoking to say that lol 😂
1:31 it’s interesting that you don’t realize how this undercuts all your credibility as an analyst. You quite literally admitted to analyzing wrong 💀
Tampa's goal differential: 69
Florida goal differential: 35
Toronto goal differential: 23
Leafs fan here: IMO Tampa is the best team in the Atlantic, Florida second, Toronto is 3rd. But its a marginal difference. The Leafs will draw a tough opponoent in Montreal, Ottawa, Florida or TB. All of them play the Leafs well. Ottawa has beaten the Leafs and I consider them the favorite in that series. Hope I am wrong. There is so much parity its hard to predict and will come down top fluke bounces, penalties and power plays, refs giving marginal calls to a certain team etc. Anythging can happen.
