My guess is that none of this applies to adult recreational hockey because, at least with the guys I play with:
– 100 per cent of all O-zone entries are skate in with the puck.
– All forwards I play with are so skilled, I mean I am talking like Crosby, McDavid, Kane – that they don't need to pass, they just go to goal.
– Majority of forwards never pass to D, almost as if we do not exist. There are some enlightened players who realise that we do exist.
Can you make a video about shooting from the point.
Hey really like this video especially because I am a D. Was wondering if you could talk about getting open in the offensive zone as a D on the point.
Can you do one of these on Connor Mcdavid
Thanks. I just started playing D in my adult rec. league. I post videos each week before our game on something we need to work on. I'm posting this one now. Awesome that it is Burns. We're in the Bay area. And I'm sure it will irritate the couple Kings fans on the team. 🙂
I’m a goaltender that is starting to go to the gym a few times a week. Should there be a limit to how much muscle I should gain so I don’t pull any muscles?
Can you do a video on how to find the open ice in offensive zone
Erik Karlsson!! Great video, this is really helping me understand how to become a better offensive defensemen
What is the best league you reached?
Hello coach Zack I am just wondering how do I train hockey IQ cause I am playing at the tier three level in b.c well my team is the best tier 3 team in our province. I had a big mistake when I was younger in Atom cause I was in a tier 4 team and playing house, I did not care about my teammates and always took the puck and go to the net. I would be getting the puck from our zone than skating all the way to the opponents net. But now I know passing is a key point but now hockey IQ is a bit of a struggle for me. Could I have a bit of tips on Hockey IQ.

the way the drills shown on this video will be a big help for my backwards skateing.
I am playing PeeWee tier 3 but playing on a AAA team on spring.

This Guy really deserves more subscribers this channel is very helpful
This is honestly the most effective video I have ever watched regarding being a part of the offense as a defensemen. I had to practice this several times in shinny and drop in scrims and had to play through it in several league games, but once I got it down, I've tripled the number of goals I have. I can't believe this info is free.

Thank you for teaching me what my favorite hockey player does.
