Kapanan is better than pezetta talent wise. i say Kapanan in MTL if eliminated he can help laval in the series.?
We would be very deep next year.. if you had Newhook and Dach as 3rd liners.. would be the best in the league without a doubt
Dach has to go . He is useless and a liability
I watched Kapanen play many times when in Finland and also attended the IIHF championships. IMO he is a 2 or 3C with Habs or some other team.
When he started the season with Habs both he and the team struggled big time so he was rightfully sent to Timra. After an outstanding season with Timra, imo he should only return to Habs if he will be used as a centre. Perhaps Kapanen, Laine and Newhook can be the 2nd line pairing Habs have been looking for this season?
laval , otherwise he will play 8 minutes until the end of the season…the narcissic peewee coach only play one line since he is here even when he loose 5 to 1 with two minutes left……so he better play in laval !!!!!

Roy is another Drouin! He looks so uninspired for someone given the opportunity he has been given. I would move him if they can.
Dach had many years to prove himself. It’s over for him. They will find a way to get rid of him. He’s not going to rebound like many can, it’s been like 5 years almost and he’s never scored consistently and too many injuries. He’s done. I’ll be surprised frankly he last more than a couple more seasons anywhere else.
Sign Kapanen to an NHL contract next few days and bring him into the fold. He won’t and shouldn’t sign a minor contract to end up in Laval. He’s ready more so than Slaf was frankly. I’ve looked up the rules, there’s no problem being him in now into the fold.
Hit the nail on the head Jesse. Out their 34 wins… 24 of them have been against playoff bound teams or teams in the wildcard hunt. I think some inexperience and a touch of immaturity is keeping them from winning the games they’re supposed to win.
Laine was injured when Kappy was a Hab. Put the two Finns together with Newhook's speed at C. Keep it simple for Kappy.

I see Dach being like when Monahan when he was on the team. in the future he will provide a veteran presence that can get maybe 30 points but guide new prospects. He is now someone we all have to be patient with. I just wish he protected himself more on the ice its been his downfall.
