Smith is a good player if given good guidance, but I don't think Wayne will be able to fix him. Cameron Smith kept Brandon in check during hist time playing for Melbourne, after Cameron retire Smith and Munster both went down till Bellamy decided to sent Brandon packing.
The Roosters never got what they paid for, let's see if Souths will be able to get something out of him ,but personally I doubt it .
If anyone can sort Smith out , Bennett can. If not ,Smith will be finished.

As a Souths fan I’m highly cautious about the growing number of really lazy players with an attitude problem in the squad. Latrell being almost nothing but detrimental his entire time at the club who only seems to get involved in good field position and goes missing for the rest of the game neglecting most of his duties at fullback and let’s be honest spends most of the season on the sidelines anyway. Add to that schuster and now Brandon smith even Cody can often switch off for extended periods of time when things aren’t going his way. Worrying signs
