Yeah. That's not happening
Horvat would be the better option but the Islanders would have to eat some of his salary. So probably not a realistic option. Barzal is just too much of a risk.
McTavish is a huge wet dream, highly doubt Anaheim will let him go or MTL will dump over 8m as a hostile offer to force Ducks hand. Crosby won't leave Pittsburgh although he'd be 2nd best wet dream. Sam Bennett is my man as 2nd Line center for P. Laine. He's UFA at the end of season, Shoots from left and he's a grinder.
What would motivate NYI to trade EITHER…….HORVAT OR MATHEW BARZAL? I don't see this at all
