Feeling nervous this year, They don't look the same as last year. The Inconsistency is very noticable.

really nervous about our prospects considering the play as of late.
idk if your assessment of how we felt last year at this time is quite right. we brought ourselves back from the brink, so there was some really reckless optimism, but given our horrendous start, I don't think we were confident about winning the cup at this point last year.
one thing I've come to learn about this team is that we don't make things easy. got a terrible run with injuries right now, but playoffs are a different beast. Oilers are full of surprises, for better or worse, and I'm here to enjoy the ride.

Evan Bouchard is definitely not deserving of a big contract. When they negotiate the next contract, I’m sure management can put together a collage of gaffs that could last well over an hour. Every game , he’s a floater. He has no awareness of his surroundings. Keep up the good work on the channel
If McDavid, Ekholm, Frederick and Kane can come back all fit and healthy for the first round of the playoffs anything is possible. That said depth scoring will have to be on point for a succesful run. We'll see how much our D including the goaltending can do… LFG OILERS!

Completely depends on 2 things. The health of the team (especially McDrai) and the goaltending. If the Connor is healthy and they get .905 save % they are finals bound
Hope the Knoblauchless monster plays J Skinner in the playoffs. Team is slower, anything could happen but not really looking great. I think they are going to the cup again or losing to the VGK in rd2. It'll be a tough run but they have the talent.
It feels like if the season was much longer, they might not even make the playoffs. 😅😮😢

Trev, don't be a worrywart. It is what it is. Should they have matched Hollaway? Kept McLeod and Foegele? Of course, but hindsight is 20:20. At the time, everyone was pumped about Arvidson, and Skinner was a bargain pick-up. Who knows, all these vets might really bring it in the playoffs.
My concern is in net, but I like our defensive depth and I'm hopeful that McD, Ek, Fred and Kane will all be 100% by the playoffs. That's how Vegas and Tampa won it all, so why can't the Oil?
Low expectations for this geriatric squad. But, they play best as underdogs.

Nahhhh I didn’t think the roster was going that far a year ago, with Ceci and Desharnais on the right side…injuries aside the roster is better than a year ago. Straight up.
As an oilers fan, I feel burnt out watching the highs and lows this year and it doesn't seem to be getting better. I believe it's a 1st round exit this year LA will smoke them in 4 games.

What’s weird is that the entire roster are actually on paper, better than last year. Its so frustrating they’re just not clicking. Last year we had Ceci and Desharnais made it to the finals. This year we have a way better Darnell Nurse , we signed a top 4 dman in Jake Walman. Arvidsson and Skinner were consistent goal scorers on their previous teams and then they joined the Oilers they’ve been up and down in the lineup all damn year . Im just hoping this is just a regular season thing and we get a different story in playoffs. Go Oilers Go?
Knob is way too chill, it makes him soft imo. The boys need some fire. They get beat on hits every game. No wonder we have injuries, there’s no repercussions.
I dont think my team the oilers will win this year and I don't give a shit. If they win great but honestly because of their management I'm quite lethargic towards the team these days.

I think that the roster has the potential, but they need to play as a team and really figure out their defensive game because there is no doubt that the team simply can’t produce at the level they did last season. They’re not well rounded enough outside of their core group, but I’m not ruling out a deep run just based on how this team seems to band together in the most stressful times.
If they play the way they have been playing, including shitty goaltending wont get by frist round, i hope they do but i doubt it.
