I know they don't want Greig to be a 4th line player in the long run, but if they desparately need a 4th line center, he is their best option. Put Zetterlund with Pinto and Amadio.
Guys you should rejig the Zetterlund conversation here. Honestly this is not a guy we should be worried about. He has already demonstrated great chemistry with Stutzle. Zetterlund has been in the perfect spot several times already, at least ten to my count and when he received the puck from Timmy it is on and off his stick in a second AND his shot is always on net and elevated over the pads. Now, every single time he’s done that and not scored thus far is a highlight reel save by the goaltenders we’ve been facing. You’re burying the lead here, James Reimer in that buffalo game played like Ullmark did against Detroit when he made 48 saves. Zetterlund NEEds to stay with Timmy he is the best shoot first player we have at this time for Timmy’s wing. His 17 goals aren’t a fluke on an and San Jose team and when you watch his highlight reels you can tell he instinctually has excellent positioning. This is something you need to be patient with. We cannot be juggling that first line all the time. I also agree that Brady should be up there with Timmy. First line should always be Brady, Timmy and Zetterlund. That’s two BIG and heavy wingers. Very hard for teams to deal with. And I disagree with yorkie that the play dies on Zetts stick, yes that has happened but if you watch Brady, that happens to him as well because neither Brady or Z are fast dynamic skaters. If either of them are caught flat on open ice without having the insulation of the boards they are stuck. But, Zetterlund and Brady both also win a ton of board battles, Zetterlund has won several, as many as he’s lost which is as good as anyone on the team, except maybe Perron and Timmy who are both elite on the boards. So you need to give that line time to develop. Brady I think has been moved off to reduce his TOI and insulate him a bit since he is clearly playing injured. But Zetterlund was brought in to shoot for Timmy. Timmy is shooting more there’s no doubt which is great but there needs to be more shooting threats on the ice and I think that pairing of Timmy and Z has actually looked fantastic. Give it time.

You can't count the Pittsburgh game for 5v5 they were tired. But they scored a pile the other night. Zetterlund just needs to keep doing what he's doing and they will start to go in.
